Stop at Plaza de España

One of the city’s main tourist attractions, this plaza is a must for any tourist. This impressive construction, reminiscent of the palaces of another era, has still not celebrated its hundredth anniversary. Originally built to form part of the Ibero-American Fair in 1929, today it is home to the Government Sub-delegation Office. It was the biggest construction built in the city in the 20th century.

Did you know? After the fair the building was earmarked to form part of the University of Seville.
