IGLESIA SAN JACINTO

TOUR MONUMENTAL

Stop at San Jacinto

This Baroque church, which stands parallel to the Iglesia de la Estrella, differs greatly from the latter. Opened in 1775, its enormous, ochre-coloured façade makes this building difficult to miss. It had been finished some time before, but several collapses delayed its opening. Despite these problems, this parish church has come down to us in perfect condition. Moreover, it is the home of several confraternities.

Did you know? The rubber plant at its door, originally brought over from Puerto Rico, is over a hundred years old.
